The ITS solution for 29" trail bikes offers excellent traction in most conditions. Tread design has many short square profile knobs for great hook up and low rolling resistance. The EXDC Lite casing is constructed with light weight Single Ply casing and folding beads. It featured 2 compounds, Sticky Rubber in the side tread sections, and durable and fast EX compound in the center treads - True 2.25" size.

Unuseable! Everytime I inflate these they blow off the rims. Luckily the wheels weren't on the bike at the time, or the frame damage may have been significant.

Bottom Line:
What a disappointment. I figured I may not have seated the tires properly, but repeated attempts and careful checking yielded the same results. They just won't stay on the rims.

Strengths:
This is a nice rolling tire with good traction and a nice round casing. Seems to roll quite fast and has a high volume. The compounds seem to enhance the traction as it corners at high lean angles better than it should. The casing is nice and thick, with good compliance to rocks and seemingly good resistance to rocks and debris.
Weaknesses:
Climbing performance is poor on kitty litter over hardpack when run in the recommended direction. Reverse it to have better climbing performance in a trade off with depreciated braking performance.

Salsa El Mariachi rigid. 2x9 and SS with WTB Laserdisc 29 trail rims. Tires run at 26-28psi.
Bottom Line:
For the price currently on closeout these tires are unbeatable for a fast rolling trail/endurance tire. The weight pushes them out of the race category but I used these in a recent 24hr race and loved them. I was scared of the soft compound edge knobs wearing too quickly but so far they look good after 24hrs of racing and some time training on them. Not as grippy as the saguaro but seemingly more stout.
