This tire rolls so fast you think you are riding a slick! But in fact you are riding a XC mud tire
Wet roots and rocks are this tires only weakness. It slides all over the place at even the glance of a wet root...
For a XC/ Trail/ AM winter time rear tire. This is it. Rolls super fast, sheds mud like a mad man, and refuses to pinch flat! I like it out back more than any of the tires listed above. I have been riding it for 6 months now, and it looks bran new! (Same with System 1 and 2 tires, they just dont wear down!) For under 20 dollars all over the web, whats holding you up from buying one?!

Amazing lifespan despite the sticky compound, C3 baby! Grips wet roots and rocks well. Not a mud tire, but it did amazingly well in the mud last weekend during 3 days of solid heavy rain. It sheds the mud well, glides through sand, grips well, doesn't get cut or damaged on jagged rocks. Only had one flat due to a nail on the pavement. And they have lasted me an entire 2 seasons, still some life left on both the fronts and the rears! I can't believe I'm using such a small weight tire for the stuff I'm doing, not even a pinch flat! WTF AM I CRAZY? lol I am forever an INTENSE tire user now! I used to have kenda nevegal and maxxis high rollers, these System 1's put them to shame! Thank you Intense! And they are cheaper then most tires out there! Need I say more?! If you find this tire, buy 20! Find your pressure for this tire, that's the only important factor in your ride, I personally change the pressure dependent upon the conditions of the course I'm on.
NONE! AMAZING! BUY TONS OF EM AND STOCK UP!
BUY THIS TIRE OR YOU ARE INSANE! LOL

zero.
Best tires I've ever had, hands down, no question. Better than Pythons, better than Ritcheys. Better than Michelin Wildgrippers. Go get them now and forget about screwing around with wasting time and money on other tires, as I have done for the last three years. Intense did their homework. The knobs look wimpy and insignificant, but aren't. These tires hook up everywhere and roll fast - not as fast as Michelin Wildgrippers, but their stability and handling make up for it tenfold. Intense says System 1 is for intermediate to soft terrain, but they work better than most tires I've tried in dry/loose hardpack, even the Pythons (which are squirmy under low pressure). This is due to their rounded, wide profile, soft rubber, and low knob height. Running w/ Stan's sealant and strips to lighten 'em up and enhance trail feel. I put the System 3 slicks on my hardtail for cruising light trails and riding around the city.
