Good tire, but not the best. If you only ride in the mud this tire is great. My Nokains are way better, can preform in all situtations.

Strengths:
Grip well Very stiff sidewalls, nearly impossible to pinch flat
Weaknesses:
Side knobs fell off over time Tires wear way too fast There is no way I would pay MSRP for these tires, simply not worth it
Similar Products Used:
Maxxis, WTB
Bottom Line:
When these tires were new, they gripped very well, but after only one race, the sideknobs began falling off, and during one run, I lost probably half of the knobs on one side, making it extremely difficult to finish the run. I sent the tires back to Intense (as they claimed it was a defect) and they promised to send me some new ones, but 6 months later, my tires still havent arrived.

tons of traction, sticky rubber works great, look like a mx tire, have used as little a 21 psi in them with no flats ever
Weaknesses:
none, well a little heavy for free riding, but no flats!
Similar Products Used:

Bottom Line:
this is the best big tire I have ever used out of the 6 years I have been riding. the tiogas gave me nothing but troubles and forget about trying to get them warrantied. the maxxis is oh but cornering traction was not as good at the 2.7 DH

Strengths:
big, beefy, and they grip relatively well. kids ask why my tires are so big
Weaknesses:
way too slow rolling if you have sun doublewides with hope big'un hubs, and a 47 pound bike... no grip in dust
Similar Products Used:
gazz, wtb, michelin, bare rims
Bike Setup:
schwinn straight 6 with 8 inch conversion, boxxer, hope, azonic, raceface, tompson, intense tires
Bottom Line:
I recently took these tires to Northstar, and in general they handled well. My bike stuck to the rocks and logs, as well as the fire roads, but they didn't do too much for me in the dust and loose stuff. They float over it, but in the corners, they tend to break free really easily. Despite their lack of cornering in the dust, they had surprising braking abilities, maybe because I'm so damn heavy that I dig the bike into the ground. These tires also do not have the same cushion of Gazzaloddis, and after a day of fast technical riding, I quite literally had to peel my fingers off of my handle bars. 4 exploding things all around

Heavy, a real biotch to mount/ unmount
Similar Products Used:

Bike Setup:

Bottom Line:
Big a$$ tire that will smash over anything or anybody. Grips surprisingly well in the mud and wet rocks. I run 11 psi without any pinchflats. Weight will build up your arm strength but isn't so bad when you're going fast. Works good jumping stairs, too.

Bottom Line:
If you want a tire that grips and looks good and your not worried about the wieght this is it! I've only had it for about 2 weeks but it's been used in most conditions during that time. Mud pans, Downhill, Street racing etc. and it hasn't let me down yet. A bloody good tire (if it fits your bike!)

this is the tire you need for the world cup courses and other very harsh dh conditions where there is big rocks, and thick duff. If the course has any peddling at all, leave this tire at home. You'll need a set of metal tire irons to get these guys on and off.
