Strengths:    Awesome hook-up in real glop. Mashed the pedals, reefed on the brakes, no give and they tracked unbelievably well. Pretty good traction on wet roots and rocks too.

Weaknesses:    No transition knobs! Muddy-clay ruts were impossible!

    Bottom Line:
Great tire for a really soupy, gloppy day, but if you're facing mixed conditions, look elsewhere.

Strengths:    Stiff side walls, excellent grip, can run very soft

    Weaknesses:    Price, getting onto rim

    Bottom Line:
These tires work, tried them in very dry conditions and in damp forest trails, no complaints.

I needed some mud tires and I heard that the XC version of these tires was really good. Does anyone out there have any experience with these ... Read More »
