Strengths: absorbs shock nicely; soaks up hits
Weaknesses: poor mud clearence
Bottom Line:
My first time out with this tire was very impressive. Its aggressive, fast and stable on hard pack dry terrain. Very flexible when it comes to cornering. The interlocking knobs give a nice feeling of control, and the added traction makes any technical trail feel like a breeze. You cant go wrong with this tire.
I would prefer the MRC high compound Python, but i searched high and low and couldnt find them in stock anywhere. I think they're discontinued???
One drawback about this tire is that the interlocking knobs are so tight that it makes for poor mud clearence. I live in the northeast where things tend to get soggy, but for all around performance this tire gets the job done.
