Strengths: Cornering is awesome, very good control in the fast sections.
Weaknesses: Rolling resistance, breaks free on large rocksBottom Line: They are big for a 2.1 but the claimed weight is reasonable for tubeless. I have not weighed them to confirm. They provide good grip for climbing in the loose stuff with small rocks but fail when you have to climb up larger boulders. Rolling resistance seems high compared to others I have tried. They are amazing in the loose corners. They dig in and hook up better than anything I have tried. They are also great fun on the long, fast sections where they provide exceptional control. Where other tires have felt "squirrelly", these allow you to hold a solid line. They inspire confidence. If you ride loose dry stuff with small to medium rocks then you will like them. There are better choices for hardpack, big rock gardens and roots. They are spendy but good quality.
