Favorite Trail:Tolosa DJ
Duration Product Used:6 months
Purchased At:with te bike
Strengths:Fast rolling, light..
Weaknesses:Not much accelerating or braking grip, confidence wavering corner performance. Fine for steep berms, but I dont really trust these tires at trail corners, I've washed out more than once...
Similar Products Used:Minions (benchmark), Larsen, Lopes Bling
Bike Setup:07' Jackal, DJ works
Bottom Line:Not bad, but I like knobblies for everything.

Submitted by LJ a Weekend Warrior from Devon, UK
Date Reviewed: August 10, 2009
Favorite Trail:Gawton HSD
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $25.00
Strengths:Very fast tire, decent protection, these tires have the profile of real motorcycle tires, so there is lean angle on the road possibly up to 45 degrees, and the knob spacing is close enough together so that any of you motorbike riders out there can have leaning fun on your mountain bike without silly side knobs or too narrow semi slicks.
Weaknesses:Almost like a semi-slick, so not great in wet conditions!
Similar Products Used:WTB Prwoler, Maxxis High Roller, Larsen TT
Bike Setup:FR AM
Bottom Line:Slower but much more fun than a slick or semi-slick on the road (dry), great on hardpack and hardpack with a little dirt dusting. OK in moist or damp dirt. Not so fun on wet roads, wet rocks and wet roots.
