Strengths:    Good grip on pretty much everything
Low rolling resistance
Light
Good Looking tire

Price in Canada :(

Weaknesses:    Durability

Bottom Line:
This was a great tire, to replace my LT3's until all the knobs started tearing off and getting chipped. On one particularly rocky trail I managed to lose 1/4 of the knobs. This tire is a no go if you ride in rocky trails. If there are little to no rock where you ride, by all means get this tire if its around 40$. The 80 price tag I got on this tire was not worth it.

Schwalbe Racing Ralph vs. Continental X-King?

I'm about to replace my RaRa, but my no one in town carries Schwalbe. My LBS recommended Conti X-King. I love the low rolling resistance and speed from the RaRa's. I was wondering if the X-Kings will be as fast. Anyone have experience with both? Thanks.Read More »

Continental X-King 29er failure??

A customer brought in his factory built SunRingle Charger Pro SL 29 front wheel with a Continental X-King 29x2.4 mounted. He had a hard crash over the weekend and figured that his wheel was ruined. He gave it a quick spin for me and sure enough, it appeared to have a bad lateral wobble. I pulled ... Read More »

26x2.4 Continental X-King Protection POS!

Anyone have any luck with these tires specifically? I have 95 miles on them and I'm missing complete knobs in the middle with almost every side wall knob torn/sliced. By looking at them you would think I'm a pro DH racer - yet I'm doing only XC riding. Is there any kind of warranty or a way I can ... Read More »
