Strengths:    Black Chili compound which grips and wears well.

Weaknesses:    Sidewalls. These are even thinner than the sidewalls on my Continental Grand Prix 4000 S II tires.

Bottom Line:
One trip through a newly created trail made from broken granite and
my front tire was toast. An outside knob sliced off and a cut clean through
the sidewall. I'll use the sport made in India version as the sidewall is much
tougher from here on in!

Strengths:    Lightweight, Grip, Cornering, Fast Rolling, Volume,

Weaknesses:    None so far

Bottom Line:
Short term review ... These tires are lightweight for a 2.4 .. 580g. they roll extremely well and fast ... grip and traction is great in the corners/loose over hard . Switched from Nevegals 2.35 and i feel these tires are way better .. these tires have all the traits i was looking for ...lightweight/fast rolling/ grip .. using as front tire only with a 2.2 Cont X King Rs rear .. Great Combo .. cant speak of durability just yet .

The RaceSport (which is currently up front) w/ a 180 TPI or the Protection version w/ a TPI of 240? Both are 2.4" and I assume the treads will be the same.Read More »
