Strengths:    Strength, grip, looks, durability, sound, pretty much eveything you want and expect in a high quality mountain bike tire.

    Weaknesses:    absoloutly none

    Bottom Line:
These tires came stock with my old Trek Jack 1 and they lasted 5 years, which is almost impossible because I rode them through literally everything from downhill to trails and lots of just pavment riding. They looked great, had amazing grip on all surfaces including snow, lasted forever and as a bonus they sounded really cool when you got up to higher speeds.

Strengths:    Responsive handling especially in low pressure; knobs gives a weird feel in high speed; great for high speed cornering

    Weaknesses:    none so far..

    Bottom Line:
Just got started in this field, so far this tyres never fail to deliver. Made a few jumps in stairs and benches, this tyre might be too soft for DH, best for DJ or AM.

I was hoping some of you guys could give me some recommendations for loops that are good for advanced beginners/lower intermediates. I'm looking for somethings t ... Read More »

    Earl Gage

Earl Gage is an 18 year-old Albuquerque cyclist who was well on his way to becoming one of the most ferocious, not to mention, best liked, road and mountain bike racers in the state of NM. A couple of weeks ago Earl was hit by a car while riding his bike, and sustained massive injuries. His conditio ... Read More »

Anybody know the trail conditions at Batchelor/Earl's? I rode Sawmill last weekend and it was mostly foot-printed snow and ice. The snow was firm enough to ride on (fatbike) but the footprints were so bumpy to render it un-rideable. I imagine the entrances to Batch/Earls would be similar; wonder ... Read More »

Coworker's been raving about the buffet in Pennsylvania called Shady Maple so I'm thinking of making a visit, but going just that distance just for food seems a bit much so I'm wondering if anyone knows of trails nearby. Mainly looking for cross country type stuff and less technical since I'm a beg ... Read More »
