This tread has been a favorite for over a decade - a rounder profile with a 2' 1/2" ground contact and a ramped center known to eliminate speed scrub, one of the critical design issues of 24" tires. Light LT casings and a kevlar bead or HD heavy casings and a steel bead.

Duration Product Used:

Strengths:
agressive tread, tough casing, large air volume, stay on rim at low pressure
Weaknesses:
a little heavy compared to a maxxis or kenda
Similar Products Used:
maxxis, kenda, michellin, intense
Bike Setup:
ventanna el cuervo, avalanche, manitou travis, titec, e-13, raceface, sun, hayes
Bottom Line:
I am running a savage tire up front with a bite tire in the rear and it is a really good all conditions set-up. The tires seems to hold their own in everything from dry and rocky to wet and rooty and even in snow. If you are one who hates changing tires to suit different course conditions I would highly recomend you give this set-up a try.
