The Ratchet performs well on everything from mud to hardpack. Using a trapezoidal knob in the debris channel helps the tread clean itself quickly. The design while aggressive enough for light downhill riding the tread can be used for freeride and cross country.

Duration Product Used:

Strengths:
extremely good roll,awesome cornering.Good tire for freeriding,xc
Weaknesses:
little on the heavy side for serious xc,a litte to light for burly rock laden down hills
Bike Setup:
06 mt cycle9.5 dh
Bottom Line:
i've been running this type tire on the back of my dh bike since last summer . It has agood light spin to it, but still corners well.I race at the pro level,I go through a tire every 4 races.Pretty good for such a light tire.If your looking a good roll light dh tire this is it,or if you dont mind a little weight they shred for xc.
