"Double Start" thread tightens in half of a turn for faster wheel changes. Much quicker and easier to use than conventional CAM skewers. For use on Mountain and Road bikes (specific road - 135mm). Available with Titanium skewers or Stainless Steel skewers. As used by Giant World Cup team and in Le Tour de France.
Material: CNC 7075 Aluminium
Axle: Titanium / Stainless Steel
Weight: Ti - 55g (pair) / St. Steel - 80g (pair)
MTB: Front 110mm / Rear 150mm (fits all rear axles)
I guess if you have a rigid MTB it's ok, but I would still prefer stainless up front. It closes and opens by unscrewing and it's easy to do and fast. So much easier than a traditional QR as I have carpal tunnel and pressing in with my hand is painful. However, I keep thinking that it would be easy for something like a trailside branch to spin them loose. Maybe I'm worrying too much. On the road bike they are awesome and don't cost an arm and a leg considering how light they are. On the MTB I use Salsa stainless.

Bottom Line:
Excellent skewers, really light and easy to use. No need to fiddle with a cam then wind them off until you can get them past the dropouts, it's just one easy move - unwind the lever then twiddle the other end until it fits past the dropout. Great design and well made - in England! Recommended
