They in no way scream out for attention like some other manufacturers' stuff. (That's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just different.) The front is a little tricky to tighten on to my atom bomb fork, or any suspension fork for that matter. Also the really narrow levers dig into my fingers whenever I need to remove or tighten them. Huffy 15 speed with sunrace and falcon components, hi-ten steel frame, steel rims and one piece cranks (YEAH!) | | Bottom Line: | Good skewers. They really tighten up well for twisties. I probably wouldn't have bought them for myself because of the price (they were a gift), but I absolutely love them now that I have them! I just put bought a new wheel set (mavic 217 rims and Nuke proof bombshell hubs) and put the Nuke Proof Titanium Skewers on. They are extremely like and work great. YOu might think they loosen up or catch stuff but they don't. AWSOME | | Overall Rating: |

THESE SKEWERS ARE VERY TRICK LOOKING AND ARE RELATIVELY CHEAP. THEY HOWEVER ARE DESIGNED WITH FASHION IN MIND. WHEN YOU BEGIN TO TIGHTEN THE FRONT ONE YOU WILL SOON REALIZE THAT THE LEVER SMACKS RIGHT IN TO THE FORK LEG. THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE PAIN IN THE ASS. These dudes are light, trick, look good - and hard to use. Cinching them down is a two-handed operation when used with the Judy SL. Likewise, when taking the tire off. A little friction tape on the nut end helps. So does grease. Be sure to cut off excess length and file the end - can be like the hubs on James Bond's Aston Martin if left sharp.
