Strengths:    FAT! Least expensive option in the float market. Strong rim!! I was experimenting with tire pressure and hit a rock hard with 8 PSI (BTW pinch flatting a 3.8 in tire is possible). Scratched the rim, but did not ding it at all. Nice.

Weaknesses:    Weight - but kids ask your parents first you can drill them! I plan to drill mine once I think that i can get it tubeless.

Bottom Line:
I have had the rim on my fat front Vassago jabberwocky for the last 2 months and am not going back to the skinny side. I do not notice the weight - and love the traction. We just bought 2 more to put on the beach cruiser for that ghetto cool low-rider look.

Anyone set-up a Graceful Fat Sheba Tubeless?

Did you use the "split tube" method or with tape? Is the beadlock strong enough to hold a tire without doing the split tube method? The bead on the GFS doesn't feel anywhere near as extensive as on say a Notubes ZTR rim. Having a hell of a time finding tubes for my wheelset that do not cost a ... Read More »

Graceful Fat Sheba Rim.

Just recieved a new GFS rim. Took it out the box and noticed that you can see daylight through the join on the sidewalls. It seems to be joined OK on the flat part of the rim though. Anyone else notice this on theirs? Anyone think this will be a problem? [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/stu- ... Read More »

Vicious Graceful fat Sheba--Junk?

Anybody else built up a set of these rims? I've built, Snowcats, Umas, Large Marges, 70s, Raymolinos, 80s, and 100s and have never encountered such poor quality. I'm aware that with most of these wide rims you can't get too picky, but I just built a set of of these Vicious rims and they're a mess. ... Read More »
