Strengths:    strong, easy to true, light weight, looks sharp

Weaknesses:    the only thing i can think of is the paint comes off the sides when using v-brakes but wouldn't that happen with most painted sidewalls? not a real weakness for me.

Bottom Line:
i love these rims and wheelset. really lightweight for dirtjumping so it is exactly what i was looking for. the strength to weight ratio is good meaning that they will go out of true becasue they aren't heavyweight indestructo rims but the greatest thing is that i have found them very easy to true up. i was considering jumping on the bandwagon and getting some atomlabs built up but i found their cust. service extremely poor whereas tioga was excellent in responding to inquiries and even sending out freebies (catalogs, hat, stickers)! highly recommended rims that look sharp if you like black and white! a great value for what i got them for.

Strengths:    I've never seen such a good looking rim
Wide at 36mm, but very light for a DH rim (590g or so)
Black sidewalls
Come very, very straight from the factory- building these up is a dream (plus they're double eyeletted, so you'll never drop a nipple into the hollow section while building)
They're sooo strong

Weaknesses:    Expensive, but you get what you pay for
Black sidewalls make v-brakes squeaky

Bottom Line:
People complain about fitting tires to this rim, but I personally haven't found it all that difficult. I work in a shop though, and change a lot of tires, so maybe I've just got the knack. I've always used plastic Park levers without a problem.
I built my rear wheel on one of these a month ago using butted Wheelsmith 14/15/14's, and have not been going easy on it. I run low PSI, so when I'm a little short on a gap, I can always feel the rim hitting the corner, and the sidewalls are still pristine. After many many 4'-5' drops, not all of which have been smooth, I have not had to even touch this thing with a spoke wrench. My bike's a hardtail, and I'm still learning, so this rim takes some nasty knocks. I'm sold.

Strengths:    strengths....they're strong, they looks really sexy, and I'm told it builds up like a high end Mavic. They will never let go of your tire!

Weaknesses:    They will never let go of your tire!

Bottom Line:
I really like these rims. They look nice and work just like they should. It took a fast head-on crash with a rock to taco the front, which was quickly made ridable with a few whacks on a nearby tree. I would buy these again, but I would not try to put DH tires on by myself again. If you freeride or dowhill, buy them....AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE!

Strengths:    Very tough rim and wide as hell too. looks good

Weaknesses:    abit heavy and

Bottom Line:
I got these built with a XT disc hub for $150can thats damn cheap since the rim alone goes for that. I'm getting a rear to match it and hopefully I'll be riding in style soon with disc brakes on front and rear.

Strengths:    Very, Very Strong Rim. I've took some pretty big hits, and not a wobble. Very, Very Strong...

Weaknesses:    This rim is the hardest Friggin' rim to set a tire on that I have ever come across! Insanely hard! Buy a downhill tube because you don't want to have to change a flat on this.

Bottom Line:
This is a perfect rim... unless you have to change a tire. I have yet to get a pinch flat though. Run heavy tires and tubes and punish them! They can take it!

*Can't beleive all these idiots posting tioga tire reveiws!*

Strengths:    pretty damn strong, light-weight(not that that matters), looks cool, tire will not roll off under any circumstances!

Weaknesses:    Tire will not roll off under aany circumstances! Seating a kevlar bead tire is very, very, very difficult!!!! Seating a wire bead (like a Gazzolodi or Intense) is impossible!! I just spent a hour trying to jam on a Gazzolodi. Five broken levers and a nearly broken finger later I finnaly got it seated, only to find out that I had punctured the heavy-weight DH tube with the steel irons I resorted to using!

Bottom Line:
A great rim made almost useless by it's inability to take a bead. As soon as I destroy these I'm gettin' Sun DoubleWides. Also, I see many of the reviewers on this page don't wear a helmet - it's a rim, not a tire, morons!

Strengths:    Looks good, your tire will definately not fall of this rim
very light
strong

Weaknesses:    Very, Very hard to put tires on it, and take them off.

Bottom Line:
I was reading the reviews on this and all I saw was tires. These are good for anyone who wants to go wider than the Mammoth rim but not go to a disk specific wheel. You can use disc or v brakes with these which is cool though you have to pay careful attention to v-brake pad placement to avoid hitting the tire. The racing stripe will rejuvenate the look of any bike. And they are light as well as strong. Use them for XC or Downhill and they won't let you down. Only problem is getting a tire on them requires serious manpower. Once on they will never come off!! Ever. You'll never roll a tire with these babies.

Strengths:
strong, cool looking

Weaknesses:
none yet

Bottom Line:
strong rim, with the combination of an intense 2.7 tire, it's almost impossible to pinch flat, at least I haven't been able to yet, and I do some seriously rocky stuff...
