Product Description

65mm wide like Large Marge, Marge Lite shaves a lot of weight over regular Marges while retaining torsional stiffness. This rim, like our Rolling Darryl and Clown Shoe rims, utilizes a 64 dual-spoke hole pattern. Lace 32 holes all on one side when building for frames with offset, such as our Pugsley and Moonlander. Lace 32 holes skipping side to side for non-offset frames or forks.

Strengths:    The lightest readily available fatbike rim currently. A really good bead that gives a definite "pop" when setting them up tubeless. Single wall so no holes to block up when setting up tubeless. Very strong and now come in funky colours.

Weaknesses:    None.

Bottom Line:
Can be bought for under $130 each and set up as tubeless beautifully and holds your tyre secure at low pressures. Weighing in at around 690g they are currently the lightest fat rims available. I am waiting on my second set of rims to arrive anyday now and will be built up to fit 4" tyres as my others Marge Lite wheelset have 4.8" fitted.

Need a little help: tire choices for Jones half fat (Rabbit Hole R/Marge Lite F)

Hi All, Forgive my noobishness: I have a chance to buy a Jones with a 29er 50mm Rabbit Hole in the rear and a 26" Marge Lite in the front. Would the 3.5 Vee Rubber Speedster (or Black Floyd) in the front work well with a 29er tire in the rear? I ask because I'd like to set the Jones up for paveme ... Read More »

Marge lite ghetto tubeless question

I tried the ghetto method of splitting a 24" tube and wrapping it around the rim. The on one floater aired up easily but the tube balloons out through the holes in the rim with minimal pressure. Am I supposed to use a rim strip between the tube and rim to prevent this? I see people using some kind o ... Read More »
