Strengths:    Big rim. Strong and well made.

Weaknesses:    Heavy

Bottom Line:
Riding fat front is a blast, and this rim is very strong. The spoke spacing along with the rim's width make for a stiff wheel. The buildup was very easy though I did have to modify my truing stand to get feelers on the side of the rim. There are some DIY web reports of drilling the rim to lighten it. Good rim but heavy.

offset Large Marge to "non-offset" turing?

I'm seeing a lot of deals on offset LM online, however rarely any non-offset rims/wheels. Is it possible to true/dish the wheel 17.5mm back into "straight"? Would I need new spokes? ...is it even worth the :madman: ?Read More »

2.4-2.5 tires on Large Marge???

Curious who's used smaller MTB tires on a large marge rim, and to see pics of the tires on the rim. I have Arrow Racing 3.0s which are nice, but like something that may work better in sand....and slightly lighter. I have a 1x1Read More »
