Strengths: Rofl at the 85 foot dropers. Non nonchalantly hitting the 85 footers. "product good for HARDCORE crosscountry with occasional 85 foot drop". Really good rims though for my review. I have taken some 5' and ten foot drops and small simple park jumps and stuff, held up really nice. Cased a few street curbs too, not even a ding with the tubless maxxis hookworm high press combo.
Weaknesses: Colorful sticker gets sun and water faded after awhile of use. Really none though.
Bottom Line:
Good rims, good price, colorful sticker.... Buy these.
Strengths: this rim is awesome, im running it on the rear of my kona. i have done some crazy sh.it with it and its still the way it was when i bought it
Weaknesses: jst geeting the tyre off
Bottom Line:
if ur thinking of buying this product stop thinking and jst buy the rim, it wont let u down
Bike Setup: 2005 kona stinky, 8 inch hayes, alex dx32 and mag 30, e.thirteen bash guard, drop off triples blah blah blah

Strengths: Strong.. Rock solid..... smooth ..... Look great...
Weaknesses: Heavy if with the wrong tire...
horrifying to get heavy downhill tires of off, if there is a flat.. had to stop using downhill tires for regular use...
Bottom Line:
Have had them for several years... A lighter set of rims might be interesting.. However.. for jumping curbs all day.. They have held up the test of time..
Bike Setup: custom painted kona shred with dj 2's, obviously mag 30 rims, front 26" back 24", el toro cranks hayes 9 hydraulic disks, both 8"

Strengths: mag 30's are bombproof :| and look madd awsomeee
Weaknesses: nonee
Bottom Line:
these wheels are crazy.. they look awsome, and i cant do anything to wreck them.. my buddies made a 8 foot stepdown, and im not the greatest at them lol, so i tried to hit it and sketched out, ended up landing with the bars sideways and cracked and bent my fork to the side (2005 dirtjam comps) the only damage on the wheel was a slight.. less than 1mm warp.. but its great cause i got a new fork :D

Strengths: Where do i start.... Its a tank, you can go off anything knowing that the rims will not taco or untrue, you just know they will be able to take it. It handles anything you throw at it, drops, jumps, gaps, etc.. I love it, it looks rad, its beefy, its indestructible!
Weaknesses: Hmmm, getting tires on maybe, i didnt have that much of a problem, but it takes a whole lot of effort to get the last part of tire on.
Bottom Line:
If you want a rim where you can trust going off big drops, jumps, get this one, it will not fail you!! Its pretty cheap for a dh rim, kind of heavy but what the hell its a dh rim lol. If you get it, you will not be disapointed!! I LOVE MY MAG 30S!!

Strengths: Unreal in all fashions. this is my third season with front (rear got stolen in van 2 weeks ago). i cant believe its still rippin hard. stays true and looks mad sik.`
Weaknesses: havent found any yet other than the obvious tire replacement difficulty everyones having
Bottom Line:
you buy rim now!!!!! toughest component on my bike
PS. - dagmar, i live in whistler and ive never seen anyone take an 85 foot drop. you must be mondo hard core because all the xc riders i know crap theyre pants at the sight of an 85 incher. you must come out to whistler and show all us freeriders how its done.
Strengths: just readin a review and a guy named "Dagmar" a cross country rider.. says hes done 85 foot drops on it and not problem... i belive they can probly can hold up.. but a cross country rider doin an 85 foot drop?
Weaknesses: just readin a review and a guy named "Dagmar" a cross country rider.. says hes done 85 foot drops on it and not problem... i belive they can probly can hold up.. but a 85 foot drop?
Bottom Line:
just readin a review and a guy named "Dagmar" a cross country rider.. says hes done 85 foot drops on it and not problem... i belive they can probly can hold up.. but a 85 foot drop..this guys an idiot
3 flamers because i havent tried it just read good things about them
Weaknesses: Get it built up right and it will be fine
Bottom Line:
To Joel: If it is such a amazingly unbendable, bombproof rim, then why was it bent of a 10 foot drop? Yea i'm whining about it because i thought i was supposed to be a EXTREME FREERIDING rim. If you ave a problem with that the e-mail me, otherwise before you start blowing crap out of your mouth, find out the facts.
Strengths: - Strength - Sidewall - Looks sick - Lightweight compared to my bombshell fatboy
Weaknesses: - Sidewall can make it extremely difficult to get tires on / off
Bottom Line:
Good rim so far. It's held up great since I got it. It's a little tough getting tires on / off, but no biggie. The only thing I really worry about with this rim is getting it all scratched... they are beautiful! I would recommend this product to anyone looking to ride downhill or freeride.
---- TO THE PERSON BELOW ME -----
No rim will taco on a 10 foot drop unless you case it bad. So I image that's what you did and now you are just whining about it.
Bike Setup: - Iron Horse SGS Team - Marzocchi 66 VF 170mm - MRP System 1 - Mag 30 rear 12mm/ Bombshell fatboy 20mm - Shimano Road cassette w/ 105 derailleur - Maxxis Rubber

Strengths: Holds up well for the first while.
Weaknesses: At c.o.p there is a 8-10 fot drop/gap. I hit it and it bent the living hell out of this rim. I cant believe i spend 120 to get this rim done up and have it bend easily off a simple 10 foot drop.
Bottom Line:
IF ANYONE HAS A SUGGESTION ON A RIM THAT YOU CAN HIT A 10 FOOT DROP ON AND IT HOLDS UP REALLY WELL FOR UNDER 200$ CAN, PLEASE E-MAIL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bike Setup: 04 kona stinky, sherman slider +, mag 30 rear, mavic 729 up front, maxxis minion, block 8 bars, raceface cranks, shell and bb, and some other small stuff

Strengths: They look pretty cool and for 65 bucks, you won't find a stronger rim out there. Mine is in perfect true and i haven't had a single problem with it.
Weaknesses: Damn hard to get most tires on. Buy like 50 tire levers before you buy a Mag. A little heavy but hey, if you aren't Geoff Kabush (aka dumbass), who cares about a few grams? You can only have two of them on each bike...
Bottom Line:
Good, strong rim that won't burn a hole in your wallet.
And never ever have your wheels built by the companie you buy from. Having machined wheels costs to fix.
