Strengths:    Strong eyeletted rim for this cheap? Really? Have not had to true once in over a year since they were built up. Look sharp.

Weaknesses:    White color requires cleaning to stay snazzy

Bottom Line:
I bought these to replace some cheaper mavics that came on my bike and had developed flat spots and enough bend that truing had become impossible. I mostly just bought them because they had the same ERD and would take the guess work out of spoke sizes. After 6 mos trail riding and 6 mos daily urban riding, I have no complaints. I built the wheels myself and have not had to adjust them once since the original build. Maybe i am a sloppier rider than most, but in my book having this little to adjust is a rarity.

Strengths:    Allright for the first year, (1500 Km), Appear Ok

Weaknesses:    Within 2 weeks, had back to Bike shop for truing. 3rd visit after removing old tire, wheel buckled, back to shop and found that rim had split all the way around. Getting new rims, DT Swiss XR400

Bottom Line:
Sun Ringle rims are history in my book.

Does anybody run the Sun Equalizer 21 rim tubeless, only using the yellow tape and valve? I am looking at ChainReactionCycles.com and they have quite a good price on a set of Hope 2 wheels, and their lightest rim is the Eql 21. I was almost sold on the NoTubes Olympic + ZTR hubs, but the diffe ... Read More »

Anyone riding these? I'm considering them for a 29er based on dealer suggestion but, I confess, I've neve heard of this brand. I found only one review and it describes them as flexy for heavy riders. I'm 6 ft 2 and 205lbs. My first choice, a set of Mavis Crossmax rims with King hubs is apparen ... Read More »
