Strengths: Strong wheels, love using them and they are light enough to race and tough enough to take a serious beating. I havent had a single problem or qualm using or buying this product.Weaknesses: A tad bit heavy for serious racing.Bottom Line: I would buy this product again I would recomend it to any serious rider who wants a lighte and turable wheel set.

Strengths: Good product from DT Swiss. Nice, strong and light for all mountain use. Can take the beating of 4 feet jumps. Having these for 6 months pinch flats never occur to me. The previous review says its prone to pinch flats but maybe its the tire causing those pinches.Weaknesses: none so farBottom Line: Sold all of my mavic rimsets and settled for dt swiss rimsets. recommend

Strengths: light, strong, DT Swiss quality.Weaknesses: this rim is very prone to pinch flats, I seem flat every other ride even when I run 45-50 psi.Bottom Line: Good rims, light and strong.....I'm just sick of going through a tube every other ride.

Strengths: Light and strong. Weight to strength ratio is excellent. Looks good, simple design. Eye catcher coz its DT Swiss. Better than Mavic 717. This is better coz its DT Swiss. Mavics are just brands most people think off, go for DT Swiss and you'll never turn your head back to Mavic again.Weaknesses: noneBottom Line: I used to own a Mavic XM719 and a crossmax wheelset but then i tried going DT Swiss. I sold my Mavic XM719 and tried DT Swiss X455. No doubt the DT Swiss X455 is better than the Mavic XM719. So what i did next after a week is i sold my Mavic crossmax wheelset and bought the DT Swiss EX1750 wheelset. Damn the EX1750 is all out better than the Crossmax. I will never turn my head back to mavic again. Go DT swiss and you will never go mavic again! Recommend!

Strengths: Lighter than my old rimsWeaknesses: still not light enough than the XC 717 disc. XC 717 disx wheighs around 395g, DT X455 around 455g.. around 60g heavierBottom Line: Bought this rims and paired it with Deore XT 08 hubs (which are incredibly light) and DT swiss Revos.. a bit heavier than a combination of XC717 with XT 08 hubs and DT but with a difference of around 100+ grams.. well not bad though! thats still light.. estimate around 1,700+g all in all. lighter than a Mavic crossride wheelset. thats light enough for XC riding.. Bottom line! nice rims! light and sturdy! and cheaper than the XC 717 rims.

Strengths: Bought the rims a week back and pair it with HOPE XC hubs and Panaracer FireXC 2.1. Rims quite light and works great on offroad with some minor jumps (nothing extreme).Weaknesses: Do not Jump on hard pavement!Bottom Line: Affordable rims for offroad and it can be comparable with the Mavic XC717. Don't expect doing a couple of feet jumps on this rims. Purely XC ride is great!
