Strengths: verry durrable rim. with the spokes laced off-set(on the outer edges of the rim as opposed to down the center) it is more laterally stable as well as harder to knock out of true. stiff too. no flexing on side hops or hard corneringWeaknesses: heavy, this wheel is built for freerding and downhill. i would never put it on an xc bike. because its wide you tend to not need as wide a tire, but that prevents me from being able to use some downhill tires. it turned my 2.35 into a 2.6Bottom Line: a very worth while buy. i dont actually know the price because they were donated to a non profit i work for and then given to me but i would have bought them if they wernt these are great rims
