Strengths: Very lightweight for a 30mm rim, but you pay for it in strength...Weaknesses: Lateral strength is poor, they bend very easily.Bottom Line: I've had these rims on a Superstar wheel set for just over a year now. The rims are very light building up to a sub-2kgs wheel set and have been in service on my enduro bike and my AM hardtail. Whilst the rims are stiff in a vertical plane, I've found them to be quite weak laterally.
Front rims normally last me a very long time, but two moderate crashes have completely finished the front wheel off severely bending the rim.
On the plus side they have held up well against dents, but I would not recommend them for enduro of dh use.
