Favorite Trail:All
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Purchased At:Speedgoat
Strengths:Good hub, no problems with the hub itself. Cartridge bearings last about 3 years - which is normal. Bearings are a standard size, so easy to get.
Weaknesses:No product support from manufacturer. No spare parts available. Had to cut outter cap off due to overtorquing by manufacturer.
Bike Setup:Cannondale Scalpel
Bottom Line:Good hub, but no support by maker. When it came time to replace the cartridge bearings the outter cap/bolt assembly would not come off. After trying myself and taking to two different shops it would not move. Breaking a spanner wrench, heating with a torch, and several other approaches did not work. Finally cut off. Had to order a whole new hub just to get an outter cap as my mechanics and myself could not get one from maker. E-mail is the only contact option and they will not reply, not even to a shop. I do not support companies that don't support me.
