Beautiful (got the blue one), well engineered

Anyway when I put this hub in the hands of my local mechanic he looked at me funny and he tryed to spinn the hub and said hey man that one does not spinn very easy, I smiled and said take the rim and spokes you ordered for me put it together (tight, I like it solid) put it in a frame close the skewer and spinn it than.
I picked up the wheel next day and he smiled at me and said not only is that thing ridiculously light but it also spinns forever. Well after riding that thing for 3 years in the NORTHWEST (you know rain and mud and snow) it is still the fastest hub I have seen and strong too (I weigh 215lb), we are talking hard fast trail riding with log-overs and jumps no matter what weather conditions!!
Unfortunately as you can see on my bike setup above I have disc brakes now and had to say goodbye to the MIG 75. (My brother will be very lucky, he get the wheel)
I also bought the KONG disc hub for the rear for the new bike (see above) and will post a revie about that one as well. Here in Washington we just have too much rain that i could continiue to ride rim brakes it was way to dangerous (for me and the trees). | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

These (Mig75/Mag215) are still going strong, no problem whatsoever, and I AM really testing these hubs, self being 220 lbs. I use them with Salsa CroMoly skewers, since the original tune skewer are too week, in my opinion. The hubs are definitely five chiliesoverall rating. I ordered this strong version because I am rather heavy (220lbs). The hubs (and spokes) performed flawlessly throughout without any maintainance at all. A bit of fine trueing was necessary only once (compliment to the guys at whizz wheels). I had to replace the rims, though, after two years of hard use (not sooo bad for a light race rim). I had the old hubs used with new rims/spokes to build a new wheelset. I used the clamp ons from tune only a short time. These are too weak for my taste, especially as both the fork and the frame have some flex. Both fork and frame can do with every extra stabilizing force they can get. So I 've replaced them with cromoly salsa ones, which suit very well from the finish (a glossy black for both hubs and clamps). In all, I find it absolutely amazing hwo these hubs 1. work, 2. endure with 3. this low weight. | | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |

Heavy Tools Equipe ECS with rigid steel fork | | Bottom Line: | I use them together with Mavic X517 CD and DT Revolution Spokes (2.0-1.5-2.0). These wheelset is really one of the lightes available.
I weight 65 kg, I used them now over 6 months with a rigid steel fork, not one mm of difference on the frontwheel.

The weight of mine is 83g which is a bit heavier than the standard version because mine is reinforced for radial spoking.
