Strengths:    Lightweight, nice rolling resistance.

Weaknesses:    Unreliable!

Bottom Line:
I could not for the life of me find out what was wrong with my setup. At first I heard "ticking/clicking" then "grinding" which subsided when I back-pedaled. I’ve also experienced chain skip when backpedaling which I thought was "odd". We had the bottom bracket out 2X before I decided it was coming from the REAR hub.Something I had suspected from the beginning. Then I was told by the shop that they had to disassemble other tune hubs and regrease them up to 3x before they replaced it. Can you imagine???WARNING TO THOSE WHO WANT TUNE: Do not purchase them unless you want to pay for disassembly on a regular basis. Since the hubs have been serviced and I have logged in another 50 miles I can hear them going again! I will not replace them with Tune and will request a full refund. I’m sticking with Campy which NEVER failed in over 300K yes that's correct, 300,000 miles over the last several decades. Tune hubs are a COMPLETE DISSAPOINTMENT especially since they are "designer" hubs. Also...Edge Composite wheels are a total bust going out of round after 300 miles. They are made in China and for the expense of them I could have easily purchased Bora Ultras which will be my replacement wheels after I get done turning these in on warratee for something RELIABLE!

Strengths:    Extremely light at a true 182g due to carbon fiber axle. Tune was very helpful in assisting with adjustments via fax, phone and email.

Weaknesses:    Have to adjust freeplay with shims, cost.

Bottom Line:
Hard to adjust play initially, but once there, has not needed adjustment so far.

Nothing can touch these hubs for lightness.

Strengths:    Light weight, reinforced hub flange

Weaknesses:    Price! And stiff rachet mechanism, back pedaling in lower gears causes chain skip, whatever, the bike, RD, or chain. Front hub is 'weak', bearings not isolated

Bottom Line:
Rear hubs are built stronger than the front hubs. But rachet is still very stiff, even after 300-400 miles and 6 months. Greasing only alleviates stiffness for a short while (2-3, 2 hr rides). Otherwise, built quality (thicker flanges, bearing fit, etc) are on par with Chris Kings.
