TruePrecision
Strengths:
Runs silent, strong, quality build
Weaknesses:
a small amount of drag in the free wheel system, but then you should be pedaling anyway!!!
Similar Products Used:
Chris King, Shimano XT, Campagnolo (road bike)
Bike Setup:
On One Inbred EBB, Marzocchi Marathon, TruePrecision hubs laced to Mavic UST rims, Specialized Adrenaline 2bliss tires
Bottom Line:
Single Speeding is already amazing, then add the run silent hub with instant engagement and your MTB biking will NEVER be the same. These hubs are truly a "set it and forget it" component. I've ridden them on tough XC single track for 2 years (and I'm 210lbs in gear) with absolutely zero issues. Also of note, the cog clamping system is quite nice but it is proprietary so you'd have to buy your cogs from TruePrecision direct. Bottom line, I'll never look at hubs the same, especially loud clicky/buzzy rears!
