Strengths: Very light wieght. So cheap you would dout their quality.Weaknesses: The spokesBottom Line: Amazing wheelset. I bought the Topo disc brake wheelset. Topo hub and rim. So light weight and very smooth. I only had these wheels 3 months and had to change out the front wheel because it dead in a crash. Two weeks latter the back wheel just took a $h!t on a bumpy trail. Each time the spokes just gave snapped. Get these wheels just plan on changing the spokes. I only weigh 150lbs and have a full suspension bike. Performance were real cool and let me return the wheels. I now have XTR hubs on 517s and would near get anything else. I also got these at performancebike.com Good prices and even better customer service.

Strengths: Cheap and durableWeaknesses: Hard to replace bearingsBottom Line: I replaced both front and rear wheels with these hubs. They hold up much better than XT and much cheaper. I have been using the rear hub for 2 years and the bearings just now wore out. The only problem I had with them was trying to tighen the alloy end cap and marred the finish. Heck the bearings I bought cost more than the freakin' hubs!!

Minimal maintenenceWeaknesses: None so farBottom Line: I'VE TRIED A WIDE VARIETY OF DIFFERENT RIMS. SOME OF THEM WORKED WELL AND OTHERS DIDN'T. SO FAR THIS IS THE BEST THAT I'VE RIDEN ON, AND YOU DEFINATELY CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE.
ANYONE WHO WANTS A LIGHT WEIGHT, DURABLE HUB, WOULD APPRECIATE TOPO

Strengths:
spins well
inexpensive
durableWeaknesses:
none yetBottom Line: very very very good buy. i used a 200+ dollar ringle rear hub, and blue it out. this one has been used even harder and works great. do yourself a favor and buy this hub for 20-30 dollars before you spend 10x as much on something that isn't as good.

Strengths:
light
inexpensive
looks goodWeaknesses:
so far noneBottom Line: After busting a bontrager mustang rear wheel with a xt hub I decided to try something new. This hub with a 517 was $85 at Performance which is about 25 dollars cheaper than buying an xt and I did not really like the xt and this one is lighter anyway. The wheel I recieved was perfectly true and lighter than it would have been with the xt hub. The quality seems to be just as good if not better than my xt and it spins smoother than my xt ever did. Plus I think it looks better. My point is that over all is that this hub is less expensive, lighter, and better than xt.
