Strengths:    durability, very very smooth and it lasts!!
they look great

Weaknesses:    none yet, maybe a bit heavy but who cares, man!!

Bottom Line:
i got the one made by SACHS but it's the same thing as SRAM since SRAM bought SACHS. I've been using them for over 1/2 a year and they're just great not talking of that they look challanging. the best from SACHS.
5 chillis hell yeah!!! GET A PAIR!!

Strengths:    Price

Weaknesses:    Durability: My rear didn't last a full riding season, and SRAM won't warranty it because they say a bent axle is operator responsibility.

Bottom Line:
Not worth the pain/hassle of replacing, unless you've spare wheelsets kicking around and can wait.

Date Reviewed: May 8, 2001

Strengths:    Fair looking, very strong and smooth, cartridge bearings, leightweight

Weaknesses:    nothing in my mind

Bottom Line:
They are Germans (Sachs) and it looks on them. Good durability. They ate the rims :) I changed my rims twice, but no problem with the hubs.
Buy them if you haven't got disk. Very valuable. Kills any others.

Date Reviewed: April 20, 2001

Strengths:    extra light (360 gr), smooth like butter, faultless, cartridge bearings, cro-mo polished shell.

Weaknesses:    none

Bottom Line:
Get one! This is an absolutely great hub -especially for that price (unbeatible!). Previously sold as Sachs Plasma.
The cartridge bearings are manufacturer sealed, so you don't have to bother about them.

Strengths:    smooth! smooth! smooth!

Weaknesses:    none yet

Bottom Line:
This is a great hub! Rather cheap, but strong like hell, light (20g less than xtr), nice.
This one is "made is germany", and I heard that they don't do it anymore (sachs was bought by Sram), but it serv me well!

Date Reviewed: February 15, 2000

Strengths:    Running smoothly and looks good

Weaknesses:    Non so far, Weight ?

Bottom Line:
When I bought the hubs they had run about 100 miles and were on a set of Rigida DP 22 rims, the hubs has so far proved to be the better part of that deal. Any rider who is looking for performance shoulden't hesitate to buy SRAM hubs if they're an option.
