Strengths: Very strong 10mm solid axle design ala Saint but much more affordable good seals keeping things rolling smoothly
Interesting hex-key with a nice locking system on the left side
compatible with Saint CL rotors and deraileurWeaknesses: I am not impressed with it not coming with any axle nut,let alone one with the quality finish as the Hex-key cap on the other side. I have vibrated several different axle nuts loose too many times, even with a lock washer -- Not fun, this is more likely to happen on a hardtail
Could use a few more points of engagement, only 16 making this not a hucking hubBottom Line: Any budget concious upgrader looking for something that will hold up to some actual riding will enjoy the entire Hone set, this is not designed to take massive drops or stand up to extreme abuse
I am suprised that the Hone is looked over so often by far tougher than anything other than the Saints but considerably less costly
great for urban rigs looking to not stand out too much. Sooner or later you gotta lock it up and walk away
loses 1 chili in value for C-L and one for overall on the cheapo axle nut problems
