Strengths:    Cheap, large hub flanges, roll smooth for a little while

Weaknesses:    They use unsealed bearings making them short lived and a pain in the ass to service.

Bottom Line:
These hubs have lasted for 2 years of abuse. (Cross Country, Dirt Jump, Free ride, and some street) Over all they have been good durable hubs, but for me the hassle of readjusting the bearing preload every time the wheel comes off is not worth it.

Is there any difference between XT(M756) and Deore disc levers(M556)?

I'm looking at them in a product catalog - they look identical except for color, and they weigh exactly the same (123g each, 246/pr), but the XT's are just more expensive. Are they the same lever?Read More »
