Product Description

Who better to make single speed disk hubs than the inventor of the single speed mountain bike hub. We've taken the existing WORD and Fhub designs and added a universal standard disk mount platforms (for the Hayes and Shimano systems which are the same).

Strengths:    Simple. Inexpensive. Relatively wide flanged to make a stronger wheel. Bolt versions stiffen up QR drop out forks.

Weaknesses:    None

Bottom Line:   
Love'm. Will buy them again if needed.

Strengths:    Smoooooth, easily serviced, light, high bling factor. It's Paul, so there.

Weaknesses:    None so far

Bottom Line:   
Super smooth, quiet ride with noticable stiffness. These hubs/rims are not holding me back from anything. Bearings are relatively cheap to replace. Super pimp 2000. Buy deez...

Strengths:    Buttery bearings, light weight. Beautifully manufactured.

Weaknesses:    Disc brake alignment difficulty

Bottom Line:   
First things first: this is a lovely hub. Smooth, solid, excellent finish.

But I had problems getting the disc rotor and caliper positioned right. Ended up having to put a washer in between the hub and the non-drive fork end just to get it to stop rubbing against the outside of the caliper body. It works great now, but I'd rather not have to bodge it like that.

Would be 5 chilis --stright up -- without that problem.
