Strengths:smooth and quick.
i had none of the compatibility problems mentioned in other reviews and i have a sid fork. no clearance or other problems and i installed an avid disc setup onto the hub and sid fork with a borrowed torwue wrench myself and i have poor mechanical inclinations.
Bottom Line:this is a nice looking finely made hub i recommend it.

Submitted by Philip Tonkin a Cross Country Rider from Durham, England
Date Reviewed: April 6, 2003
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Purchased At:From UK Importer
Strengths:Lights, Spoke Flanges very well machined, sweet
Weaknesses:Disk compatability. Using Hope XC4 Disks and Pace RC31 Forks. Bolts catch, easy fixed, will use countersunk in disk. Caliper catches spokes! Gap between Disk flange and spoke flange is almost half of that on the Hopes. Think that this has been done to give a bigger dish for more strength, but is not big enough.
Similar Products Used:Hope XC Ti Hubs, Formula Hubs, Giant own OEM hubs.
Bike Setup:SS
Bottom Line:Fantasticly made but with some oversight it seems. I am a big fan of Pauls products, but been less satisfied with this.

Submitted by Matt Berg a Racer from Madison
Date Reviewed: June 27, 2002
Favorite Trail:asdf
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $90.00
Purchased At:Budget
Strengths:Smooth Bearings
Light
easy to adjust
Weaknesses:Had to jerry rig the sucker to work with my sid, Made a homemade washer that fits on the disc side to prevent the rotor bolts from rubbing agianst the fork. I filed down ahead set washer to about 0.75*10-3m(3/4mm)and then bent & inserted it between the adjustable disc side axle thingy(real techincal I know!) If you have any question on how i got this thing to work email me at mattberg@uwalumni.com
Similar Products Used:Non disc hubs
Bike Setup:Xt disc with Sid Carbon Race...32hole..sun DS1 XC rims...and other light stuff that has no bearing on the review of this product. If I told you what was on my bike........ you would feel way inferior to the greatness that is my bike. I'm sorry I have just run out of glossys and have to go now.
Bottom Line:Buy it with caution.....Call Paul up and see about compatibility issues with differnet forks/ disc set ups. I was able to navigate arround this one, due to its design....intended or not. Email me if you have any questions. Latter
