Product Description

The Suspension Splined front hub is a top of the line, no holds barred cross country hub. A durable, lightweight XC hub, it allows the easy fixing of Hope Disc brakes, making for a very powerful combo.

With the Spline mount system, its easy to attach a Hope Disc, and still weight considerably less then the competition.

Strengths:    lightweight, tuff, looks good. Ultra smooth bearings, rigid

Weaknesses:    unless you have a gob of lock tite on the spline, the disc can come loose under extreme braking.

Bottom Line:
this is a great hub at a great price. No gimmics, just pure performance. This hub actually weighs less than my non disk hubs. it really can help save weight on a free riding bike like mine, which suck to ride up. But i have only had that loose spline for a problem. It is tough, what a beaut. lates

Strengths:    Hope, need i say more.

Weaknesses:    Front not bolt through compatible (have to get a Bulb instead)

Bottom Line:
Great hubs at a great price. All the function of the more expensive front bulb hubs but without the cost.
Front is disk compatible and has usual sealed bearings. The rear is also disk compatible and made cheaper by using a standard freehub rather then the Ti of the expensive models.

Light for XC and strong enough for DH (not bolt through front though)

So far they have been ridden in all weathers and are still running beautifully smooth. With recent dry weather they are starting to get that unmistakable loud Hope click that takes a while to bed in cos of the amount of grease they put in them.
Only available in black if that bothers the bike tarts out there.
Front is £40 and rear is £90. Over the new shimano disk hubs (with their ancient and annoying ballbearings and cones) i know which i'd lay out the cash on. Hope hubs rule. Although everyone knows that already dont they?
