Bottom Line:
The Goldtech hub is a two part hub similar to the hope Ti hub
with a grade 5 titanium axle and two 7075 flanges bonded onto each
end. The hub is mega stiff under drive loads and well sealed against crud
& water ingretion. It runs in oil (not grease) and ticks really loadly but
who cares.

Cleaning it is a brease you just pull the freewheel off (literally) clean off
the insides and re-assemble. It also has an oil injection port to flush the
roller and ball bearing set inside.

The ball-bearing set comes with about 0.5 mm of play in it which is a little
disconcerting but the bearings have lasted over 18 months without so much as
a squeak and still run as smoothe as when I bought it despite the mud/sand/rain
of Northern England.

360 grms is not light for a rear hub when some roll of the production line at
280 grms but it has very high quality materials and hasn't complained at some
of the ridiculous smacks its had to withstand.

All good stuff.
