Product Description

Ever vigilant, Chris King Precision Components may not jump on every passing bandwagon, but they know a good thing when they see one. The Chris King ISO 15mm Front Hub with SD hubshell now brings legendary King performance to the 15mm thru-axle. The folks at Chris King spent most of the past year putting the new 15mm axle standard through its paces. Apparently, they are quite satisfied with the new design, as illustrated by offering two versions of the 15mm thru-axle design. This is the standard option, which uses Chris King's small diameter hub shell originally designed for use with a quick release. The beauty of this system is the flexibility to run the 15mm axle, as the hub is currently configured, or purchase the QR axle conversion for use in your existing (or future) standard QR forks. The ISO standard means that this hub will work with any 6-bolt brake rotor. Flexibility is a wonderful thing and Chris King is offering plenty of options for those venturing into the 15mm realm. Have a couple of 9mm forks lying around you'd like to use Go for this standard SD hubshell 15mm option and maximize your flexibility for 9mm/15mm hubs. Are you more of a gravity person, with a few 20mm forks in the stable Opt for the oversized LD hubshell and have 15mm/20mm capability.Like all Chris King hubs, the ISO 15mm SD hub comes with King's 5 year warranty against manufacturing defects. The Chris King ISO 15mm front hub with standard SD hubshell weighs just 164g, is available in either 32 hole or 36 hole configurations, and is offered in Black, Silver, Navy, Red, Green, Mango, Pink, Pewter, Gold, and Brown.

Strengths:    Quality, Performance ease of service and the wicked Killa-bee sound/buzz

Weaknesses:    None I have experienced!!

Bottom Line:
This hub ROCKS! not only is the quality top notch, so is it's ease of service, I set the the hubs bearing load ( without wheel removal) before each run and Zero failure. I have thrown this hub off of AKi's rocks, drops hips dips an big Lips with nothing but sweet buzz to follow. Customer service is outstanding as well.
