Bottom Line:
I bought one of these super cheap to transfer onto my Frankenstien bike after boinging one of my old Mavics on a rock. This is an entry level rim for sure BUT if it is built right it's just fine. Keep in mind that the strength of a wheel/ rim is 100% dependent on how the wheel is built. The longevity of a wheel is 100% dependent on how it's ridden. Take a poorly built wheel and give it to a beginner rider and kiss the whole thing goodbye. I have been building wheels for 15 years and built this into a strong handbuilt wheel and ride it in fast and technicial type XC riding. It has held up great and is plenty strong. I've had to true it a few times but ALL wheels need truing now and then...it's a fact of life. Learn how to true your own wheels and it won't be such a big deal. This is a great rim for the money!!!

Strengths:
They make my bike roll.
Weaknesses:
They never stay true. I am an average rider and these can't hold my riding for SQUAT!
Bike Setup:
Marin Trail
Bottom Line:
If they came on your bike (like me) use them until they break. Any kind of jump or average sized hump, they will bend and come out of true. They suck.
