Submitted by John a Racer from Castle Rock, CO.
Date Reviewed: December 30, 2006
Favorite Trail:Anything dirt
Duration Product Used:More than 3 years
Purchased At:25.00
Strengths:Lite, FAST!
Weaknesses:Can wash out, but it is a small tread, so what do you expect?
Similar Products Used:Mutano Raptor
Bike Setup:Matt Chester Dogbox, geared 29er
Bottom Line:I have used this tire as my race tire for 5 years at Leadville 100 and other races. I know tires are a rather personal decision, but my riding style is a perfect fit for this. I am not a hard core DH rider nor am I terribly fast on the single track descents. I ride a lot of long distance, fire roads, etc and this is a perfect fit for me. If you are an ultramarathon rider, here is your tire. Also consider the WTB Mutanoraptor. I can get the ZED from Cambria.
