Strengths:    Wire bead - works well in a tubeless setup - traction - 2.35 volume.

Weaknesses:    None sore far.

Bottom Line:
Mounted up tubeless (Flow Rims) with no issues and holds air very well. Been riding then for a few months in the Arizona desert and they have proved to be excellent tires for my riding style. Traction is very good on the dry desert trial I ride. Lots of rocks to contend with and I have yet to cut the tire. Heavy rider and I can run lower psi without burping. This is a major advantage for me over the Rampage in tubeless mode.

My local area is hard-pack with lose-over, and woods with steep slippery downs (and ups) with wet roots and stones etc thrown in. The Halo hooked up very well indeed with everything. Downhill traction/braking ... Read More »

Halo Choir Master Tyre

Has anyone run these? I wonder how big they are and how grippy. They look good on paper at 730g and 2.35 size (provided it isn't a Conti 2.3 size, which is like a 2.0) with aggressive tread. http://www.halorims.com/HaloNew/choirmaster.htm _MKRead More »
