Strength:

Tough, good rolling, good for varied terrain.

Weakness:

I do not see any.

This is a street / urban assualt tire, not a road tire. It will take on asphalt, light trails, gravel and rock roads, pastures, stairs, curbs, good on wet pavement. This is the best bang for your buck street tire out there. Thanks Geax. I did a lot of research before buying these tires, you could pay almost double for some others of the same genre. I have a set of knobbies for the woods. My erery day rides are ridden around town here in East Tennessee. So for this kind of riding, it is the perfect tire.

Strength:

This is a tough and very durable tire that seems to be aimed at the city or 29er commuting. It excels in these conditions, but can be used outside of the box as well. The construction is top notch with good attention to detail and has zero runout.

Weakness:

This is a wire bead tire which makes for a heavy construction and is not tubeless ready.

I ran this on my 29er as a gravel grinder and adventure tire. The Evolution II was even able to be used with good success on singletrack in dry summer hard pack conditions. This tire was put through a torture test of sorts with all the gravel and rocks that were thrown at it this season. I put over 1,500 trouble free miles on this tire before it started to wear through the center profile shape. Highly recommended if you are not concerned with tire weight. If Geax brings a TNT version it will gain a full five chilis.
