Strengths:    Grip. Tubeless brilliance. Rides much bigger than 2.0.

Weaknesses:    Wish I could get one in a 2.25. Would only use it on the rear.

Bottom Line:
I ride wet, slippery trails about 8 months out of the year. Tons of wet roots. Use the Mud X on the rear only. Great traction. Best rear grip I've ever had. Rides and feels like a much bigger tire. I've had it aired up on Flow rims without sealant for three months, and it just doesn't lose air. Wish I could get the same benefits in a wider tire.

Bonty Mud X 29er TLR questions

Has there been much experience with this tire yet? I'd like to know how the mud x performs on hardpack and loose over hard. What kind of actual casing width and volume does it have? If it rolls pretty well, maybe a good match up with the ACX up front for loose / slick races? Thanks G:DRead More »
