Strengths: Not expensive, you can feel each click of the rebound knob in the shock return rate. Got rebound lockout at least. Good value and strong.Weaknesses: Heavy and only rebound adjust.Bottom Line: Good shock for the price, a lot better then my DNM Torch which also has rebound adjust and $150 MSRP. The Torch won't lockout with the rebound adjust and feel like no rebound sensibility while the Glyde really feel plush. I think it's the best entry-level coil shock for the money.
I have a 2006 Glyde RL, 9x2.25 and 450x2.25 spring. Was stock on bike and do the job for a beginner. But for a serious rider, look into better, more adjustable shocks.
Duration Product Used: 2 Years
Purchased At: Stock on bike
Similar Products Used: DNM Torch with rebound adjust.
Bike Setup: FR bike, 2006 Iron Horse Yakuza Aniki. 9x2.25 shock with 450x2.25 spring
