Strengths: Robust, reliable, well balanced for my weight of 86.5kg, ample adjustments, Remarkable value.Weaknesses: The name Suntour taints this shocks true worth and ability.Bottom Line: Ye, I like this shock. Had over a year on my FSR XC with no probs and still going strong. My comparisons have been Fox Triad and float R, Rock Shox SID. It sits above these in its feel and priced much better. For me its been a great find.
As for the reviewer below who was having a bad day, sounds like your eye bolts are just tightened to much.

Strengths: None, this shock is junk.Weaknesses: Rebound setting is horrible. The shocks goes from bobbing all over the place to no travel at all with one click of the rebound adjust.
The lock out does not actually lock the shock. There is a little bit of travel that results in a horrible bouncing up the trail as you peddle.
Weight, man is this thing heavy.
Stupid lock out lever - look at the size of it, it gets bumped by almost anything.Bottom Line: Stay away from this shock. You would be better off putting a dog turd in its place, and you can pick those up for free along almost any trail. This junk came on my bike which I received as a warranty replacement. I should have ditched it before I even put one ride on it, but I decided to give it a chance. That was a stupid mistake. Don't make the same.

Strengths: sturdy, reliable, easy to use, functions well at desired settings at almost all trails whether ascending or going down. rebound performs and adjusts well and is noticeable depending on the desired mode. damping is remarkably efficient. air pressure is at it's max at 300 psi which enables even the heaviest of riders to put in the right amount of air for worry free rides. lockout is a plus whenever needed.Weaknesses: NONEBottom Line: sturdy, reliable, and easy to use. this product gives every rider the confidence and satisfaction to hurdle almost every trail nature has to offer. the epicon rs9 is a sturdy shock as it gives confidence to make that drop or jump at every ride. affordable it may be, the epicon sr9 is definitely a good buy because you get more than what you bargained for.

Strengths: reliable
works good
affordable
Weaknesses: no platform
Bottom Line: The Epicon Lod works very good for its price, and sofar (1200km) I did not have any problems with it. It's easy to set up, you can adjust the rebound speed and air preassure, for uphills or whenever needed, it offers a lockout.
There are other shocks that have more feature like a platform system or whatsoever, but if you need a solid rear shock that's good for everything from Xc to Am biking for a reasonable price you should take this one into consideration
