Strengths: Very plush, solid lockout, price, weight.Weaknesses: didn't hold air well at first.Bottom Line: At first I wasn't happy with it because it lost air pretty quick (within a week) After a few rides and a little fork oil to lube it, the shock now holds air well.(keep it clean and lubed as with most any shock or fork) After many rides over a couple months the pressure is still very close to the same. Lockout is very solid yet has a blowout valve incase you hit something big while its on, saving a seat from being in places it shouldn't. Over washboard cat tracks the shock can lull you to sleep it's so smooth, and yet can handle hard landings, jumps and drops well. This thing handled very well when I had to ride over a series of roots with this shock and only one crank arm, soaks up most anything well. My bike is set up for freeride, and this is about the extent of this shock. Best used for XC or All-Mountain. Over all awesome shock for the price!

Strengths: Super Light, Lockout works great!Weaknesses: A little bob unlike spv shocks by manitou.Bottom Line: Great shock! the lockout feature is awesome, wish it was on the handle bar but it will do. It works really well, it just needs a negative air adjustment and rebound, but for the price you cant argue. This shock works really well on y frame bikes.

Strengths: Massive air cylinder, means lower pressures, equals less wear and tear (in theory). I usually run 120 to 170 psi on all the other air shocks I've tried, the Ario only requires 95psi for me to get the same sag (35% of stroke for my set-up). Well priced. No negative spring air chamber to worry about.Weaknesses: Rebound feels vague, and seems to fade during use, then reverts back when left alone.Bottom Line: This shock has very similar construction and behaviour to the DT Swiss SSD, except it has a larger air chamber and uses standard end bushings instead of the Swiss ball joints. I didn't like it at first because the low pressures created a very linear feel in the middle of the stroke. Unlike the Swingers, the Arios seem to have an initial resistance to movement, then a plush middle, which ramps up at the end so it doesn't bottom out harshly. It's like having a progressive characteristic going both ways... like a psuedo stable platform effect. It probably needs a firmer negative spring elastomer to soften it's movement in the beginning. On my driveway the Ario felt odd, but in the trail it works surprisingly well. I forgot about it and just enjoyed the ride.
