Strengths:    Range of compression adjust, progressive rebound, plush. Very sensetive at small bumps and has good resistance to big hits, drops etc. Increase rear wheel traction. I think service will be not problem for me.

Weaknesses:    None yet.

Bottom Line:
Very tunable, you can feel difference at each click, better middle stroke compression than roco. Also rebound feel is better, faster at small bumps but progressively slower hitting large things.

I've read reviews and specs for the shock which state that the shock is custom valved for each bike ... Read More »

PNW SPAM: Large Green Nomad Alu. w/ Float 36 RC2, RP23 & Elka Stage 5

Hey y'all WA shredders. I'm looking to part ways with my Nomad. She's been an awesome bike and well cared for. I went 29er and well, let's say I'm guzzlin' the kool aid and just don't see the Nomad getting much trail time. Anyway... I'd do a local sale for $1800. And I can scale the price down ... Hi All, So my Stage 5 need rebuilding this winter and I happened to find that Avy has a rebuild service for them where Craig puts the Speed Sensitive internals inside. Has anyone had this service done yet? Any opinions on just getting it rebuilt from Elka vs. Avy? ThanksRead More »

Paid Spam: Elka Stage 5 7.875" x 2.25" stroke (200.3mm / 57.2mm)

Putting my Elka up for sale. For no other reason than wanting to put my bike on a diet for Enduro racing. This is an excellent shock. Compliments the Rune quite nicely. The shock has the "Rune Tune" so you can bolt it right up and hit the trail. Great for anyone looking to add more big hit capabili ... Read More »
