Lockout= hardtail great for road and smooth climbs. Plush and smooth otherwise on DH

Soft. Losing air from new.160> 50 psi in few days. Bobs like mad pedalling despite recommended psi.

Compared to my old Fox RP2 is lousy. Roack hard locked out vs massive pedal bob plus air leak. If it wasnt for ability to lock out I would be ditching, only had bike 1 month.

Not suitable for heavy riders.
The "platform", to be fair, seems almost non-existent. The bike bounces a lot when riding down the hills.
I have removed the shock from the bike after 6 months. The upper bushing is in good condition, the lower bushing moves too easily in its place.
Control the bushings condition every year!
Remote lockout version is recommended. Otherwise, you will always have a hand under the seat. Open, close, open close.... (total lockout, no platform). You can't upgrade the normal version to the remote version, they have different parts.

Cannot deal with a 96kg rider at all!!

If you are in the heavy side avoid at all costs.
The air-spring is on it true limit to get any sag.
The dampening hydraulics CANNOT deal with the loads at all, as if there was none.
The "platform" is a joke, actually got bob-resonances when activated.
The "articulated" mounts broke by slipping off after 500km max. This happened twice!

Poor instalationguide

Build the bike myself and like I said: poor instalationguide. The remote control is the Twinlock from Scott. For instalation Scott gives up the information with their own dampers, DtSwiss also for their own remotes. So try and error. At the end, all works fine, but it took me a while.
Ideal for XC and even all mountain.
Just pump it up at your weight and check out the sag;easy!Rebound adjustable.
Rarely using the lock out, only on very, very long climbs and when I torment some racers on the road...
Lockout on, you've got a hardtail.
Keeps up the airpressure very well.
It does what it supose to do.
