Strengths:
Great working suspension. Easy adjustments I find it very easy to find my "zone" 750ft-lbs coil-over gives me the perfect cross between performance and comfort.
Weaknesses:
the adjustment screw gets loose over time. had to replace it 3 times so far.

heavy, looks cheap, not sure if it's an original DNM coz there are supposedly imitations(?) from China or wherever, the rebound and preload adjuster don't seem to work! no noticeable difference in my ride!

Quality rear shocks are so hard to find in these parts and good ones are so damn expensive! This thing seemingly does its intended purpose - occasionally! its preload and rebound adjusters do not serve any purpose at all. maybe coz i got the 900lbs spring or sumthin but it still sucks sh*t. the crap POS shock that came with my frame feels more plush and comfy. Good thing it's really cheap but i should have gotten the lower end model (w/o rebound adjustment) coz its a whole lot cheaper!
if i can afford higher end rear shocks right now i would surely dispose of this crap

Cheap. Long spring to allow plenty of preload adjustment. External rebound damping adjuster.
Weaknesses:
Very hard to setup right if bought as a seperate. The shock's damping circuit is too wide to allow any fine tuning. it either saps all of your power or pogos like mad within one click of the tuning knob.

Bottom Line:
i bought the shock for £30 from a UK ebay shop as a replacement for my Fox Vanilla while it was getting serviced. the compression is very fast (which is how i like it)there doesnt appear to be any in the shock! the rebound damping is either far too fast resulting in the bike pogoing all over the place, or so slow that the swingarm hasnt time to extend fully before the next bump. that happens between 2 clicks of the adjuster and the other settings make things worse. Fine for cheap bikes, just not really for going off road!

i bought the DNM used at ebay to replace the Foc Float and the result was a little more weight and a better working suspension. the reaction on small bumps is quiete good and the grippy preload-adjustment-ring makes it very comfortable to get the right setup before you rock the doubles. with a hard setup and a good rebound this rearshock is the perfect jumping-tool. the only reason why my one is not used anymore is the fact that i found a rearshock with more travel...!

good bushing quality, no movements, light weight, eazy to adjust, good rebound control, tough, 6-feet-proven(on a 56.4kg person/me), plush, and sweet.
Perfect upgrade from dnm dv6. Instead of getting a dnm dv22 with only oil dampen, pay a bit more and get one with rebound control for drops. And it's a SWEEEEEET SHOOOOCK

this shock is OK but no more. when i can afford a new one illl get one but ive had it since summer and its done its job. its survived a summer at the dh trails so im happy with it. if your starting out its an good shock and a good upgrade from other cheaper ones. but if youve been ridin for a few years you know what to do
