Favorite Trail:Skeggs Point
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $60.00
Purchased At:Cambria
Strengths:Very "plush" for a rigid 29er fork. My Karate Monkey fork felt like a ramrod compared to the Zombie. A friend of mine has tried carbon ridig niner forks and other cromoly rigid forks, and and the Zombie. I bought it on his recommendation. He said the rest were like ramrods. Buy this one. Best no-bang for your buck.
Weaknesses:Zero. Killer fork for the price.
Bike Setup:Surly KMonkey, 8x3.
Bottom Line:Buy this fork if you are looking for a rigid niner fork. It is significantly more "plush" than my KMonkey fork. And per my bud, more "plush" than any rigid carbon fork out there.

Date Reviewed: August 6, 2009
Favorite Trail:Kanata Lakes
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $60.00
Purchased At:Phat Moose Cycles
Strengths:Strong, fender eyelets, mounts for V brakes and discs. The fact that the v brake mounts are removable is a nice touch. Rides nicely and steers well. The V brake mount is adjustable, so you can run V's with 26 and 29 inch wheels.
Weaknesses:There are probably lighter steel forks out there, but probably not by a ton.
Bike Setup:Voodoo dambala 29er
Bottom Line:I bought this fork with my bike. The price is great, it is more affordable than some other rigid forks. It's a solid fork, it can hold up to a lot of abuse.

For a while I had a White Brother BW1.0 suspension fork on the bike. It was appreciated for hitting big stuff; the voodoo is terrific for climbing and not noticeably different on small bumps.

I think this is a terrific 100mm rigid fork. The quality is good, price is great and it has a lot of options in setup.
