Strengths: Light for a steel fork, looks sharp, very efficient climbing performance. Has a nice controlled deflection which inspires confident riding without being unduly harsh.Weaknesses: Heavier than carbon and probably more expensive. Could be narrow for 2.4+ tires depending on tread pattern.Bottom Line: Worth the price of admission if you're into the rigid bike experience. Works great, looks good, and is unique. I left the steer tube uncut since this fork will out last the bike and I'll be keeping and re-installing for perpetuity. I've only ridden a carbon fork a few times but I've been told they tend to over-deflect making for a less confident feel. This fork has no such problem. Excellent vibration damping compared to carbon. If you can stomach the extra weight and lack of carbon bling you'll be sold by the performance.
