Strengths:    dual chamber - plenty of adjust options
progressive characteristics - gentle and responsible when you want and efficient and tough when you need
lightweight - mine weights only1680g with pop-lock
white looks good!

Weaknesses:    it isn't as stiff as it should be - under high load it wants to bend under the frame. Front wheel is quite lousy with 9mm axle. 29er wheels are demanding.
can be tricky to adjust pressures for beginners
fragile finish - every contact with obstacles on your route results with damage of varnish.

Bottom Line:
Very plushy and precision response, great usage of 100mm travel, this is the fork you can rely on. one of recommended fork in this price range

Bottom Line:
came on my 2012 Giant anthem x 29er. Plays a major role in why the bike rides so amazing. Soaks up all the hits with ease but takes all the bounce out of climbing. A superior fork with no problems. Never had a problem with Rock Shox while, I've had issues with Fox fork seals in the past.

Strengths:    Light, dual chamber air, easy to adjust

Weaknesses:    none so far

Bottom Line:
I love this fork! This was coming from using a Dart 3 and its like night and day. The Reba RL is very easily adjustable by adding air, and the rebound adjustment makes really noticeable changes in the handling. The lockout works really well with only a small amount of bob. A+ So far.

Bottom Line:
So far it's great, considering that my previous shock was Dart 3 it's like going from Buick to driving a BMW. I'll post more on this after I put in more miles.

Good price on Rockshox Reba RL 29" ?

My 2012 Anthem X4 came with a Rockshox Recon Silver TK. The fork is ok. I had a Reba SL on my old Fuji Tahoe SL and it was definitely a nicer fork. [url=]Rock Shox Reba RL Solo Air - PushLoc - 29" Tapered 2013 | Buy Online | ChainReac ... Read More »

2011 Reba RL 29 service questions

I've had this fork apart twice now and can't get it back to factory condition. First, service I did last winter. Everything was working fine but I wanted to remove the 20mm spacer (mine had 2-10mm spacers) to take the travel from 100 to 120mm. I read this was doable on the 2011 reba rl but the marki ... Cannot disengage lockout on Reba RL 29

I have a new RS Reba RL 29. I bought it without the remote lever for the lockout switch as I never use lockout. The lever assembly was optional so I assumed it was not needed to turn the lockout on or off and it could be done manually. However, the blue lockout dial on the top of the right leg is ... 2013 Reba RL 29 and Reba RLT 29 100mm Travel adjustable to 120mm?

I am having a hard time finding 120mm 29er forks that are 15mm thru axle. There are a few more offerings in QR but still not many. I prefer Rock Shox, mostly because of price. Does anyone know if the new 2013 Solo Air Reba RL and RLT 29 100mm forks can be increased to 120mm? When I look on t ... Read More »
